100% Recyclable Event
Movin’ On’s Sustainability Team sorts through every trash bag at the festival and separates it into recyclables and non-recyclables.
Sustainable Fan Engagement
We team up with campus organizations such as EcoReps to offer an array of games, activities, and prizes for attendees to enjoy and learn more about sustainability.
Water Buggy
We have a policy that allows for attendees to bring in their own reusable water bottles to use at our free water filling station located on the festival grounds that was provided by UPUA.
Movin’ On Sustainability Team
Since 2023, Movin’ On has developed an educated and passionate Sustainability Team. The 10-person team curates a sustainability plan each year to further combat any excess waste created by the festival. This team organizes sustainability-centered programming at events such as Spotlight Series, Acoustic Roadshow, and Battle. The team’s biggest accomplishment is completing the annual trash sortation post-festival. This team’s immense efforts are the sole reason why Movin’ On can call themselves a 100% recyclable event.
