Some of the Most Anticipated Albums of 2023

The start of a new year means a year full of album releases from all our favorite artists. Here are some of the most highly anticipated albums that will be released this year!

“Let Her Burn” – Rebecca Black

You may recognize Rebecca Black from the infamous music video for her song “Friday” which was released back in 2011. The video went on to surpass Justin Bieber’s “Baby” as the most disliked video on YouTube. Now, it is time for Black to redeem herself, because on February 9 she will be releasing her debut album called “Let Her Burn.” The first two singles off this album have been released, coming in with a combined 1 million streams on Spotify.

“This is Why” – Paramore

On February 10, Paramore will be releasing their long-awaited new album “This is Why,” after not having released an album since 2017. The lead single, which shares the same name as the album title, was released in September 2022. According to Hayley Williams, lead singer of Paramore, this song was the last song written for this album. Fans have been waiting patiently to hear more from Paramore, and thankfully that wait will be over soon.

“Endless Summer Vacation” – Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus has recently announced her tenth studio album, “Endless Summer Vacation” which will be released on March 10. The first single off of this album, “Flowers” was released a few weeks ago and debuted at number one on the charts and has been all over the internet. This anthem for independent women has given us a glimpse into how amazing we can expect this album to be once we hear it in full.

“Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd” – Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey has announced that she will be releasing her ninth studio album on March 24. The title track of this album was released in December 2022, and has seen a lot of success since. It was voted the fan-favorite new music of the week on Billboard.com. Del Rey’s newest album is sure to be as beautiful and haunting as the rest of her work.

“Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent” – Lewis Capaldi

On May 19, Lewis Capaldi will be releasing his sophomore album. It has been three years since Capaldi released his debut album, but he has been working on this new album since then. Capaldi rose to fame with his songs like ‘Someone You Loved” and “Before You Go.” He is known for being authentic and very interactive with fans on TikTok. Capaldi will be embarking on a world tour after the release of this album.
