Are you joining us for Movin’ On’s 50th at the IM fields this May? Get ready to hear some amazing songs from the talented rapper, Baby Tate!

Baby Tate will be taking the stage after our SPA donated artist, Claire Rosinkranz. We can not wait for everyone to see all of our amazing performers take the stage at Movin’ On’s 50th anniversary May 2nd!
Born into an already creative and musical family in May of 1996, Baby Tate knew what she wanted from an early age. Her mom, Dionne Farris, is known for her 90s hit “I Know” and her dad, David Ryan Harris, is also a musician and producer. With music running in the family it’s no shocker that Baby Tate followed in her parents footstops.
Her music career began at an early age, when she started dancing and playing the piano, she even started producing her own beats at the age of 13. She even taught herself how to produce, write, and engineer her own music.
Baby Tate entered the industry when she was only 15 years old, releasing her debut project, “ROYGBIV,” inspired by the rainbow, which showcased her talents as a singer, songwriter, and record producer. Each song on the album represented a different color and mood; very artsy and conceptual. Following her startup, Baby Tate released her debut studio album in 2019 entitled “Girls”.
Baby Tate then gained further recognition with her viral single “I Am” featuring Flo Milli. She is all about self love and empowerment, and this viral hit is basically an anthem for hyping yourself up, which fans from all over adored.
Following this fame, she signed with Warner Records in 2021 and released her major label debut single “Pedi”. This marked a new start for Baby Tate as she originally went by Yung Baby Tate but dropped the “Yung” in 2021 after signing with the label. A new name meant a whole new era for Baby Tate.
Rap is her biggest genre, but that doesn’t mean she is afraid to mix it all up. You should expect high-energy sounds and soft vocal movements with a blend of rap, R&B, pop, and even rock.
As of April 2025, Baby Tate continues to make waves in the music industry with her dynamic projects and performances. In October 2024, she released “Tate Tuesday, Vol. 1”, a compilation of new songs featuring some special collaborations.
Movin’ On is so grateful to have Baby Tate take the stage at Movin’ On’s 50th anniversary and we can not wait for you all to see her take the stage!
