We are Movin' On
Penn State's Annual Music Festival
What is Movin' On?
ONE OF THE BIGGEST STUDENT-RUN MUSIC FESTIVALS.
As one of the top 5 largest student-run music festivals in the country, and a Penn State tradition now in its 44th year, Movin' On brings a free celebration intended to wish off all graduating students who are "movin' on" in their lives. Movin' On's rich history includes a wide variety of musical acts including Fall Out Boy, Gym Daya, Lupe Fiasco, Judah & The Lion, MGMT, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Passion Pit, Two Door Cinema Club, and more.

Why come to Movin' On?
IT'S A FREE MUSIC FESTIVAL.
Since its inception in 1975, Movin' On has remained true to its roots by providing a fun-filled day of diverse music, exciting events, and community involvement. As a 18+ student only show, Movin’ On has remained a substance-free environment at no charge to Penn State students.

How did Movin' On come about?
COLLABORATION BETWEEN UPUA, GPSA, ARHS, AND SPA.
In the fall of 2010, Movin’ On was born through collaboration with four other other campus organizations. UPUA, GPSA, ARHS, and SPA held their own concerts in the springtime, but the students wanted one big show instead of four small scale events. With the help of UPAC, Movin’ On is funded through the Penn State student activity fee, and has combined forces with these other organizations to create one big festival.
